AKA 赤 is a word that means "also known as" — another identity, another side of yourself. It's the name you go by when the sun goes down and the city lights up.
Rooted in the rich cultural tapestry of the Asia-Pacific and perched atop Auckland's newest landmark hotel, AKA is a rooftop sanctuary where bold flavours, panoramic views, and genuine human connection converge. The "赤" in our name means "red" — the colour of dawn, of passion, of the flush on your cheeks when the evening is going exactly right.
We built AKA to be a third space. Not home, not work — somewhere between a sunset and a story. A place where cocktails are the conversation starter, the Sky Tower is the backdrop, and every visit feels like stepping into a world designed just for tonight.
